SPECIAL NOTICE ABOUT SCRIPTING
The new PSP8 has a scripting feature that allows you to make scripts.
You may make a script of my tutorials for your PERSONAL use only.
You may NOT make a script of my tutorials and then pass the script around through
lists or place it on your website for download.
 

Tutorial written for PSP6 but can easily be done in PSP7.
You will need KPT 5 for this tutorial.

You will need the two following files for KPT5.

Unzip it into your
Plugins/KPT5/Presets/Shapeshifter   folder

Download the Environment Map HERE
Unzip it into your
Plugins/KPT5/Presets/EnvMaps   folder
I hope these all work..this is the first time I have ever tried to save a preset in KPT.
If they don't ..let me know and I will see what I need to do to fix them. *S*

Another note:..I have added the preset and Environment map for silver bells also.

For the bow part of this tutorial I have included some selections if you don't want to bother
drawing them. What I would suggest doing is ..load each selection...flood fill it with
the solid color....then copy it and paste it as a new image. That way you can just
copy and paste it back onto your canvas as you do the tutorial. So instead of drawing
the part with the vectors...just paste the part you need back onto your canvas and then
do your shading to it. The selections go into your psp/selections folder.
SELECTIONS

Now ..on to the tutorial *S*

Now Open a new canves...500 x 500..transparent background.

For Gold Bells...Set your Foreground color to #D8AF60
For Silver Bells ...Set it to #918D87

Select your Preset Shapes tool. .... Ellipse...Filled...Antialias checked ..create as vector UNchecked.
Draw a circle or a slight oval shape..whichever you prefer.
Here is mine

Now use your Selection tool and draw an oval all around your circle ..then click inside
to select it.

Go to Image...Plugins...Kpt5

When the KPT screen opens it will look something like this.
Click on the Preset tool in the lower left corner. I have drawn a red circle around it
here for you.

Now  You should see your preset screen..it looks like the one below.
You may or may not have many presets in the list on the left but the one named
Janes should be there...just click on it...it will open a set of presets that should only have one in it.
The gold one where the yellow X is. Just click on that gold preset then click on the
check mark in the lower right corner to apply it.
NOTE: I have added a preset for a silver bell also..if you are making silver bells..there should be
two presets here..the gold one and another silver one..for the silver bells just click on the silver preset.

Now..on the Environments menu there is a small white triangle you click on to bring up
a small menu to load your new environment. I have circled it in red here.

Now in the Drop down menu click on
Import Environment Map.

It will bring up a file menu ...just point it to your
Plugins/Kpt5/Presets/EnvMaps   folder....then
choose the janesgold  file for gold bells
Choose Cool Kitchen2 for silver bells.

Now click on the check mark in the lower right corner to apply it.
