SPECIAL NOTICE ABOUT SCRIPTING
The new PSP8 has a scripting feature that allows you to make scripts.
You may make a script of my tutorials for your PERSONAL use only.
You may NOT make a script of my tutorials and then pass the script around through
lists or place it on your website for download.

Things you will need for this heart pattern.
My zip file containing the selections .

SELECTIONS
Unzip this file and place the selections into your selections folder of PSP.
If you don't have a selections folder you can create one.

Plugins
If you want the shiny bow and trim you will need Ulead Art Texture
Plugin. It is a free plugin and you can download it  HERE
And   Greg's Factory Output Vol 2
You can also use Blade Pro or Super Blade Pro for the trim on the heart if you want.

You will also need two fill tiles. Or you can also use a pattern and a solid color.
I chose two of my tiles from my site. I have many there to choose from if you want
and also Wompie has many beautiful tiles on her site you can check out.
Wompie

And last but not least...I need to give credit to Bonnie of  Hayler's Heavenly Creations
for her great tutorials ! It's where I learned about using the Ulead Art Texture.

Here are the two tiles from my goodies section if you want to use them.
Just right click and save to your hard drive.

START
Now start by opening the two fill tiles you want to use.

Now open a new image...500 x 500, white background.

Add a new Raster Layer.

Now go to Selections...Load from Disk. Now you may have to browse to
the folder you have the selections in. Select the
leftside.sel

This will load the selection for you. A blinking outline is all you will be able to see
until you fill it.  Now flood fill it with one of your tiles you have chosen.
I used  tile 176.
Please note that the selections are hard to see sometimes so check the image below
to see what it should look like. Check yours against this image to make sure you have
gotten all the selections filled.

Keep it selected and add a new layer .
Go to Image...Effects....Cutout. Use these settings.
Color Black
Opacity 44
Blur 16.3
Horiz. 2
Vert. 2

De-select it now.

Add a new layer.
Go to Selections...Load from Disk and load the  rightside.sel

Flood fill it with the other tile you chose. I used tile 135.
Check it with the one below here to make sure you got all the selections filled.

De-select it.
Don't worry about the white gaps...we will fix them .

STEP 3 - I numbered this step because for some of the other patterns you
can skip this step. In the end of this tutorial there are some extra patterns
you can do.
Now go to the Layers drop down box and click on the layer named Background
to make it active. Add a new layer. Go to Selections ... Load from Disk...
and select the heart.sel

Flood fill it with the same pattern you used first. Mine was tile 176.
The reason you don't do this step first is so you can see better to fill your
other selections.
Now all the white gaps are gone.
End of Step 3

Now go to the Layers drop down box and click on the top layer to make it active.
Add a new layer.

Go to Selections....Load from Disk and select the
outline.sel

Flood fill it with a dark color to match your pattern. I used #5C3A4A
Keep it selected and go to Image..Plugin Filters...Ulead Effects...Art Texture.

When the next screen opens...click on Edit
